During the first week of November, photography students from La Cambre School of Art gathered at Pombal Palace with the portuguese students from the Atelier de Lisboa, the Institute Polytechnic of Tomar and from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, in a residence organized by the Brussels school in partnership with Carpe Diem Art and Research.
Under the Epic Light theme, all the photographic works were created in the city of Lisbon. Daily meetings to analyse the projects development and possible ways to keep the work going, under the guidance of the professors Hervé Charles, Paolo Pellizzari and Valter Ventura, were part of the work process throughout the week. The participating students also had the opportunity to visit the BESart - Novo Banco photography collection. The results, exhibited at Pombal Palace until December 20, reveals the engagement between the students from the different schools and the success resulting from their interactions.
